Pringle has enjoyed a strong start to the season in the EBL, helping his side to second in the league with a 3-1 record. Of note during those wins was a 24 point, nine rebound performance from Pringle in a 64-57 win over the previously unbeaten Manchester Magic.
British born Pringle has previous experience of the British Basketball League having spent the 2009/10 season with the Milton Keynes Lions.
The signing of Pringle has been made only days after the club announced that forward, Josh Lockett, had been signed.
The Mersey Tigers next game is on the road to the Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders on Saturday 17th November.
