BBL Betting: Saturday 24th November
Just two games today so nothing too laborious! One match-up sees the dominant Leicester away to Durham, and the other will give either Sheffield or Worcester a victory tonight after both losing in their games last night.
We’ll start there then in Worcester, where they were on the receiving end of London Lions clawing their way back and ultimately mauling them up, turning Wolves into poodles. A 38-point swing no less in the game. Quite remarkable, and I’m sure one game many will want to tune in for on Tuesday live on Sky Sports. (Sound like one of their TV announcers…)
Sheffield on the road after suffering a heavy, but not unexpected, loss to Plymouth last night, and if they don’t pick up a win soon, they will find themselves scrapping it out come March/April. So will a turning point be tonight? I’m not so sure.
My head says Worcester with the win; it could be a blowout when you consider they will be playing at home with some conviction to want to rectify what went wrong last night, and Sheffield may want to tend to their wounds ahead of the BBL Cup semi-finals, not pick up injuries and just get through this game.
Worcester win by 17-20pts – 11/2 @ William Hill
This one at Durham could be an easy one to go with as well…
Leicester Riders are 1/100 to win this. (Durham best priced 19/1 if you really want to go there)
HOWEVER
I have a sneaking suspicion that this will be a lot close than first thought, and the odds are extremely tempting on a low score by Riders to win. You could go William Hill if you think you can pinpoint it more, but bwin I think are the safest bet with a bigger scope for margins.
Leicester to win by 6-10pts – 17/2 @ bwin
