Hibbert runs his mouth much to the public’s displeasure
In the ever-accepting world in which we live, homophobic taunts, comments and jokes are no longer said without people challenging the person ignorant enough to use them.
Which is why the Indiana Pacers’ Roy Hibbert was roundly criticised for his comments during last night’s Eastern Conference Final post game press conference for saying ‘No homo’.
Following the throw-away remark, Hibbert took to Twitter to speak with Jason Collins to ‘discuss something’ with him. Collins recently told Sports Illustrated that he was gay, making him the first high-profile active sportsman in the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB to do so.
@jasoncollins34 hey can I get a follow. Would like to discuss something’s with you.

Together with his fast mouth on that subject, he also decided upon calling certain members of the media “motherf***ers”…
Here’s hoping Hibbert’s thoughtlessness will teach him and others a very valuable lesson.
