Leeds Roller Derby welcome Dublin’s first ever visit

Saturday June 15th sees high-flying Leeds Roller Dolls welcome the visit to Leeds Futsal Arena of Dublin Roller Derby.

In what will be the first ever clash between LRD’s Rebel Roses and the Dubliners, who have been touring up and down the UK, with Leeds the next stop on the road, it is billed to be a fierce bout for those spectators who turn up on the day.

Before the main event gets under way, a ‘derby taunt’ bout is scheduled featuring two teams with a mixture of up-and-coming skaters from Leeds Roller Dolls as well as from other leagues around the country.

If you’ve been logging on of late to find out about some of the country’s top roller derby competitors in our ‘Out Of Your League’ series, then this is as good a time as any to get down to watch a bout for real and meet some of the stars.

Futsal Arena doors open at 3:20pm, tickets cost £6 in advance and £7 on the door, however 12 year-olds and under enter free
