There’s a full programme of baseball in the UK this weekend, so when you are walking off the Champions League hangover on Sunday, why not walk down to your local baseball club and take in a game.
Starting from 12pm there are games in all divisions happening near you, and here’s a rundown of just who’s playing when and where on Sunday.
National Baseball League
There’s just one matchup in the top tier on Sunday as the Southampton Mustangs welcome the Richmond Flames. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 12pm at the Mustangs’ University of Southampton home diamond. If you haven’t managed to stir by 12pm, the matchup is a doubleheader, with the second game scheduled to start at 2:30pm.
AAA
There are three AAA doubleheaders in Richmond, Bootle and Oxford Sunday, with the following matchups taking place:
Essex Redbacks @ Oxford Kings – Diamond: Horspath Oxford – Game 1 12pm & Game 2 2:30pm
London Metros @ Richmond Knights – Diamond: Connare Field, Richmond – Game 1 12pm & Game 2 2:30pm
Menwith Hill Patriots @ Liverpool Trojans – Diamond: Bootle Stadium, Bootle – Game 1 12pm & Game 2 2:30pm
AA
Latin Boys @ Poole Piranhas – Diamond: Cherry Grove, Ferndown – Game 1 12pm & Game 2 2:30pm
Thames Valley Bisons @ Guildford Mavericks – Diamond: Broadwater School, Godalming – Game 1 12pm & Game 2 2:30pm
Manchester Torrent @ Oldham North Stars – Diamond: Royton and Crompton School – First pitch 12pm
Sidewinders @ Essex Archers – Diamond: Townmead Leisure Park, Waltham Abbey – Game 1 12pm & Game 2 2:30pm

Just one game in this division sees the Southampton Mustangs II travel to play the London Marauders in Finsbury Park. The first pitch of the game is at 12pm on Sunday in London.
