Purple to become pink at Clan vs Panthers game

Braehead Clan Ice Hockey team are all used to hearing the cries of Bannister’s Purple Army at games! The sea of purple is a welcome sight every weekend and it wouldn’t be a game night without purple hoodies flying off the merchandise stall! But one for one night only we are going PINK!

The Clan like to do what they can to support and raise awareness for whatever charities and causes they can so with October being Breast Cancer Awareness month the talk at Clan HQ turned to what they can do to promote and help.

The Clan’s home game on Wednesday 19th October vs Nottingham Panthers, sees the team going pink and they are asking that fans do the same! They ask that fans all wear something pink to the game –whether it is head to toe pink or even just a pink ribbon – just think pink! There will be giveaways on the night for the pinkest fans and the Clan staff will all be pinked up. The pink clad Braehearts will be collecting for the charity in the foyer before and throughout the game, and we want you to dig deep for such a great cause!

Also expect the Clan team on the ice to be wearing something pink. Sadly it won’t be pink jerseys but what’s planned will definitely be pink to make the fans wink!

So get your pink on and for one night only be prepared to be a PINK Clan Fan!

Tickets for the game on the 19th October are on sale now via Ticketmaster online and the Ticket Hotline on 0844 499 1700. You can also buy them at the Box Office at Braehead during opening hours.
