Nottingham kept themselves in second place in the league standings as the beat Hull by the odd goal in five.

The home side got off to the worst possible start as they conceded a shorthanded goal at 3.03 with Jordan Fox being on target. The visitors went further in front with a powerplay goal from David Clarke at 16.30.

Inside the last minute of the second period Dominic Osman with a shorthanded goal, gave the homes side some hope going into the third session.

At 44.22 the Panthers regained their two goal lead with a strike from Marc Levers. This game was far from being sewn up, as at 49.05 a powerplay goal from Matty Davies put the Humberside team a goal behind.

However, try as they might the home side could not make any further in road and the visitors held on to take the points.
