BAFA Leagues 2014 – Week Six schedule
The British American Football season enters its sixth week and there are fourteen games on the slate for this bright and sunny day across the country. Hopefully with the nicer weather some of crowds will increase as the action starts to move into a crucial part of the season.
Already we have seen some teams lay down considerable markers, and stretch out their divisions in doing so. One of those teams, East Kilbride in the Premier North, will look to carry on where they left off in Week Two. Their 72-0 win over Gateshead is a score that has yet to be bettered, they travel to Sheffield today, the Predators narrowly lost their first game last weekend. Reigning champions the London Warriors will look to go top of the Premier South standings as they entertain 1-2 Cambridgeshire.
Impressive Merseyside take their 3-0 record on a potentially tough road trip to Staffordshire in the National North West, and across in the Midlands division 1-1 Lancashire host unbeaten Peterborough in an important match for both.
Down in the South East Kent hope to improve to 3-0 for the season , but they 2-1 Essex Spartans will be a tough matchup. Moving over to the South West and one of the countries top scorers, Farnham Knights, look to keep the scoreboard ticking over when they visit Bristol.
