BBL Betting: Sunday 25th November
Bottom half clashes in the BBL today, as Durham travel to Cheshire and Mersey have headed down south to face Lions; here’s what we make of it and the best odds we can find out there!
The first game of the day sees Mersey make the trip to London Lions, who after their incredible comeback against Worcester Wolves on Friday night will have them purring all over Crystal Palace.
Has that taken it out of them though? Will they then put on court a weakened side thinking that Tigers are an easy touch?
If so, big mistake, and my feeling is that they might just find the Tigers taking over the Lions’ den, and for one reason alone; Bigley’s back.
After having seen the Tigers on Friday night, Heat were there for the taking, and with a key man missing like Chris Bigley, it deserved to be a closer scoreline.
Yet again the Tigers are facing up to a team the bookies have at 1/100 to beat them. This for me could be a realistic game they can win, and maybe I’m saying this with my heart and not my head to some degree but they must win at some point in time?
So I’m going out on a limb.
Mersey Tigers to win – 22/1 @ bwin
Let’s now look at what could be Cheshire’s final ever home game in the BBL. It may sound defeatist, but this is exactly what could be on the cards.
So before we go any further…

Click on those, get more information, spread the word, because otherwise Newcastle Eagles at the Northgate Arena won’t happen next week. Or the week after. Perhaps never again. And nobody wants that to happen.
In fact, if you want to help donate, why not follow this little cheeky bet which, if it comes off, could help boost the coffers considerably.
I cannot see Cheshire losing this one, purely on the basis that they WILL be up for this, make no mistake of that. Durham are having their second away game in as many days, and despite Keith Page wanting to make a show in front of his former side (as will Chris Pearce against the visitors), I really feel that two games on the road is a tough ask for them to get a win.
However, 1/3 on the outright win isn’t fair game for me, and neither is 3/4 for Cheshire at HT/FT.
What I do like the look of though is…
Cheshire to win by 13-16pts – 13/2 @ William Hill
With a day’s rest, this could have been a closer affair, but in front of a home crowd, for what could be the final time? No chance…
