BBL Betting: Sunday 2nd December
Games all over the place today – so let’s get cracking!
Sheffield visit Durham today, and I can see nothing but a Sheffield win. Yes, I do believe the tide will turn and nothing more so, this has to stop and with having dealt with such a blow of a heavy defeat against Leicester Riders in the Cup, the idea that league form has to be returned to the norm will come into effect. A dominant display throughout should secure the W.
Sheffield/Sheffield (HT/FT) – 21/20 @ William Hill
Two bookies going for different outlooks on this. Hills saying short odds on a Plymouth blowout at home to Wolves, but bwin steering clear.
Prezzie-Blue won’t be starting, but his Twitter feed features plenty of pictures of him in Wolves branding – so therefore, it’s a Raiders raid all over the park, but maybe taking the gas off late on in the game.
Plymouth to win 16-20pts – 23/4 @ bwin
I don’t know about everyone else, but Glasgow seem to be the dark horses, picking wins left, right, and centre; this could happily be the game to upset. A long trip for Leicester, but considering they are going in on the back of a huge points Cup win, it could be swings and roundabouts – which is exactly how the game could go. One way, then the other?
Leicester/Glasgow (HT/FT) – 11/2 @ William Hill
The first real showing of the Phoenix. New kit (blue and white), new logo (similar to Chester FC), a home support, but a huge task welcoming the clean sweep 2011-12 champions Newcastle Eagles.
I think with Jerome Gumbs having had a couple more days to settle, getting used to the team. His performance was only *JUST* short of MVP status on Friday night.
So on that appraisal, perhaps a ‘Nix victory tonight. Yes. You heard it here first!
Phoenix win – 23/5 @118Bet
