On a roll now after yesterday’s 2/1 claim of a Wolves victory, and we go straight back into things by looking at how Eagles can bounce back after such a defeat.

However, I’m not sure they can. Today’s game against Plymouth Raiders is their second away game in as many nights, and with the Green Army needing this W to stay in contention – and I mean needing it – this is no doubt the best chance for Gavin Love’s men to strike.

Next up is Surrey’s visit to Durham Wildcats, where this could be an easy road win for Heat, despite Dave Elderkin’s side producing a valiant display on Friday night. Too much effort one feels could have been given to picking up a win against Giants, so expect a comfortable points win here for Surrey.

Final game of the day sees Cheshire Phoenix at home to Glasgow Rocks. This always seems to be a fixture where Cheshire can get the W, and if they do tonight, it will help in the task of securing a play-off position come the end of the campaign. The shackles are off the team, and they can concentrate on doing what they do best. All’s well that Gumbs has now settled more into the side, and can be at his most devastating against Rocks, but it will a task, as prior to their last defeat at home to Riders just a week ago – Rocks were on a 5-game winning streak.

There’s a little value to be had I feel, and also a very intense, close and exciting game (wonderful to warm us all up at Christmas), so just edge a Cheshire win here – but go with points – more bang for your buck!
