BBL Tweets of the Week: 23/10-31/10

I’m starting this week’s Tweets of the Week with Mersey Tigers’ larger than life personality, Chris Bigley.

Chris says what he likes and likes what he bloody well says. Something one of our own writers knows only too well! This week, Chris has offered the delightful gift of a kiss to his 100th follower on Twitter…

…and as if by magic, our very own Keith Firmin appeared. I hope the rumours of make-up sex at the JSSC are completely unfounded. Chris has been a busy man on Twitter and he clearly likes the fat dancer from Take That’s style.

Barlow, hero to the Greenbank Ultras. Who knew? Now I’ve brought cheesy music up, our friend Tommy Freeman has let me down again.

C’mon Tommy grow a set will you? Maybe I’ve got it wrong though. It seems to be working for ex-Wolves team mate Richie Gordon.

How are you going to keep that one from Boo, Tommy? On a serious note the London Lions have been roaring (I know) and they look ready to tear up (If it works once try try again!) the table if Tayo’s tweet is anything to go by.

Back to the hilarity. Mersey forward Daniel Pilkington is doing his best to upset music lovers everywhere.

I’d hoped the cheeky little plastic mod from Essex had disappeared, but apparently not. Plymouth Raiders’ Matt Schneck is celebrating an anniversary in true British fashion.

I hope he enjoyed crumpets in bed. It’s a traditional British pastime dating way back to the Carry On days. There’s a lot of Barlow love this week and Matt seems upset.

Crikey. Sheffield Sharks’ Gage Daye has been one of the better additions to the BBL this season and he’s treating himself to a bit of catch up TV.

Gage, I love Jack Bauer as much as the next man but I think you’re getting a little too involved? I’ll sing off this week with a couple of tweets from another Mersey Tigers’ man (who said they don’t get enough coverage?) Josh McGinn. Josh is feeling a bit down and he’s got a pretty pessimistic vision of his future.

Looking at the next tweet all is quickly explained.

Does anyone have any suggestions for some manly music to improve Josh’s chances?

I’ll be back again next week with more Tweets from as the BBL season continues.
