Bell re-signs for Raiders

Jeremy Bell, the 2010 BBL Most Valuable Player and part of the UCP Marion Plymouth Raiders that reached two BBL Finals during the last campaign, has re-signed ahead of the 2012/13 season.

Bell returns to the South Coast for his second season, linking up with former Jets team-mate, Colin O’Reilly, in forming the core of Coach Gavin Love’s men ahead of their September 22nd opener against the Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders.

Bell’s signing comes at a crucial time for Raiders fans who recently saw star big man, Paul Williams, leave the club to play in Japan.

Bell lead the BBL in FT’s made and attempted during the 2011/12 as he claimed third in the BBL’s highest scorers, averaging 20.3 PPG.
