NFL fans note that date down.

Rumblings from around the web from NFL sources suggest that we will have at least an agreement in principle for a new CBA.

As I said it would, it has taken a long time but light is at the end of the tunnel. It looks as though most people are predicting between two and four weeks. Thank god for that, maybe we will have football this winter after all.

Its going to be interesting to see which side caved on which aspect. I think the section I am most looking forward to seeing is if they agree a rookie wage scale. I really hope they do, rookie wages are out of control. Not sure the current drafted players would agree but let’s see. Hopefully I’ll be able to dig out a copy of the new CBA when it’s done and cherry pick the best bits for you to browse (for those die hards out there I’ll try and get a link with the full document posted)

Fingers crossed for the next two to four weeks all.
