Freeman nets player of the month accolade
Worcester Wolves shooting guard Tommy Freeman has been named Molten BBL player of the month for February following in the footsteps of fellow Wolves’ rookie Richie Gordon.
The Ohio graduate has been influential for the Wolves this season and a key part of the title challenge. His efforts in the last month helped Worcester stay second in the table.
Freeman is the top scoring player in the BBL in February showcasing his offensive threat scoring 113 point and averaging 28.25 over the four games Worcester have played. The former Bobcat was flawless from the free throw line during the month as he netted 40 out of 40.
It was his shooting from 20 feet that was the difference maker as he made 17 out of 35 attempts, converting an impressive 48.6%.
Freeman has been enjoying an excellent rookie season since signing his first professional contract last summer.
