GB name preliminary squad for U20 World Championships

Great Britain Under-20s head coach Joel Poirier has named his preliminary squad for the upcoming World Championships Division One (Group A) in Germany.

The tournament runs from 11th to 17th December 2011 and GB will face the hosts, as well as Austria, Belarus, Norway and Slovenia.

Poirier said: “Most of the team has been selected so that those players can sort out time off work, and their respective clubs can make plans for any roster adjustments whilst the players are on GB duty.

“There may still be some further adjustments and the final spots on the team will be confirmed after the two-day camp in Sheffield on the 10th and 11th of November.”
