Heat release Shingles

Guildford Heat Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos today announced that he has released American point-guard Brandon Shingles. Talking about the decision, Coach Creon said:

“It’s a shame to have to let Brandon go, but things have not worked out as we’d hope. Brandon’s a great player but you need chemistry between your point guard and the rest of the team and unfortunately it wasn’t there. The style of play that I want didn’t fit in with Brandon’s game and he also struggled to make the adjustments to the referees over here.

“I’m looking at a number of possible replacements for Brandon and hope to be able to announce a new signing soon.”
