Hellfire Harlots hope to take down S.W.A.T.

Nottingham roller derby team, the Hellfire Harlots will host their second bout of the 2013 season on Saturday 4th May and take on the South West Angels of Terror (S.W.A.T.).

The bout will be held at Lee Westwood Centre, Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Campus and doors open at 12.45pm.

Following the Harlots’ defeat at their last home game in March and their subsequent triumph in Newcastle two weeks ago, the Hellfire Harlots have no intention of losing on home turf again.

Team captain el Visious said: “We’ve been working really hard to stay focussed and play our game. Our last game in Newcastle [the Harlots won 225-90] put us back on top after a shaky start to the season and that is where we intend to stay!”

As always, you get two bouts for your money, with an advanced mixed bout starting at 1pm – made up of female skaters hailing from across the UK, and the main event Hellfire Harlots vs. S.W.A.T. starting at 3pm. Not only that, there will be homemade refreshments, a raffle and local businesses selling their wares too!
