Horry’s head says Heat – but a united Spurs could take it
Seven-time NBA champion, Robert Horry, isn’t sitting on the fence when it comes to predicting who will be crowned 2012/13 NBA Champions. He’s backing the best player on the floor.
“I’m still favouring Heat because the things that Lebron can do on a basketball court are simply amazing. He can make the people around him better by getting them involved or he can simply take over a game. He’s one of the most amazing athletes today, he can do so much for a team. You can’t bet against him.”
Horry, who appeared in seven NBA Finals during his 16-year career and has seven championship rings to show for it (two with the Spurs), can be considered something of an expert when it comes to both the San Antonio Spurs and the NBA Finals and spoke at length from his London hotel on both topics during an interview with UKAmericanSportsFans.com earlier today.
The former Spur believes that the Finals, currently tied at 1-1 with Game 3 being held in San Antonio tonight, can go the Spurs’ way but knows that it will require more than just the efforts of the big three to get the job done.
“The big three are going to do their thing but it’s up to those secondary great players to step up and have a great game and when they do, that team is the team that usually wins.”
