Hull boss hoping for an injury free run
Excel Hull Stingrays player-coach Sylvain Cloutier is hoping his team get through the final three games of the Elite League regular season unscathed. Stingrays head to Braehead Clan tomorrow night with the expansion side having finished fifth in their maiden campaign ,and on Saturday celebrated their first trophy by lifting the 20-20 Aladdin Cup.
Cloutier’s side then end with home games against Edinburgh Capitals and Nottingham Panthers next weekend. He said: “I just want to make sure we are healthy for the play-offs. I am sure all the other coaches are saying the same thing.
“We will use these three games to get ready for the play-offs, whoever we meet. It will be a tough game in Braehead although we have played well against them this season.
“Bruce has done a great job up there in his first season but we seem to have matched up well with them and it should be another close game, like most of the others have been.”
