Jordan’s Serial: Kaepernick misses a trick
Normally he grabs the headlines with his fast feet, or his fastball delivery style when throwing the ball. So it caught everyone by surprise when Colin Kaepernick stole some column inches with his head, or more specifically his choice of headwear.
Apparently CK7 has a huge amount of caps, he is after all a fan of the game and a keen wearer of the NFL brand. So when he was caught on camera wearing a Miami Dolphins cap, the San Francisco 49ers only losing Super Bowl quarterback had opened up a can of worms that he didn’t expect. He was out celebrating the Fourth of July like any other US citizen when he was snapped. In a way of trying to make things OK, he took to Instagram as any decent person would, making comment whilst holding the cap that offened so many Niners fans
In a further bid to make amends he once again took to social media by wearing his own team logo and a Golden State tank top.
Will all be forgiven? Only if he goes one step further than last year, otherwise expect Cap-gate to make an appearance later in the year.
Fame Game Woe For Winners
August 4th, 2013 marks the start of the NFL preseason schedule. The Miami Dolphins play the Dallas Cowboys in the annual Hall of Fame game. Played at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio, it’s a game that neither team will particularly want to win.
Why? Well, no team that has won this game has ever gone on to win the Super Bowl during the same year. Dolphins and Cowboys fans will be cheering for a loss so that come early February in New York they can be celebrating a title.
By the way, yes I’m still counting down, and this game is just 24 days away. Excited yet?
