Krestanovich to lead the Clan

Ahead of tomorrow night’s first home game of the season we are happy to announce the 2011/2012 season Captain and Assistant Captains.

These roles play key parts in keeping the team motivated on and off the ice and assisting Drew Bannister in his role as Head Coach.

The three roles have been filled by returning Clan members from the 2010/2011 roster and all are definite fan favourites who hold a wealth of experience of the game and know the Clan ice well!

It is with great pleasure that we announce Jordan Krestanovich as Clan Captain. Jordan joined the Clan mid season last year and proved to be one of the key players from the second he hit the ice. We have no doubt that this year he will continue this success and be a massive asset to the Clan team, playing a second pair of eyes and ears to coach Drew Bannister.

Assistant Captains are also familiar faces from the Clan’s inaugural season with Tim Wedderburn and Kyle Bruce having the honour of donning an “A” on their jerseys again this season.

Please join us in wishing the guys all the best in their roles now, and show your appreciation when they take to the ice for the first time this season tomorrow night.
