Last chance to see Leeds Roller Dolls in Huddersfield

The final home bout of the season for Leeds Roller Dolls and the last at Huddersfield Sports Centre before the Roller Dolls move to a new home at the Futsal Arena in Leeds.

First up, Leeds Roller Dolls’ ‘B’ Team, The Whip-Its, will meet Central City Rollergirls’ Slay Belles on track for the first time. Both teams are in Division Two of the Euro Derby rankings; the Whip-Its will be fresh from their first overseas bout in Helsinki.

The second bout of the day will be Leeds Roller Dolls’ ‘A’ Team Rebel Roses facing up against Central City Rollergirls’ Centrinnians. The last time they met, CCR were victorious, but LRD have had a strong season, starting with an impressive score against London Roller Girls’ Brawl Saints.

Both teams will be keen to put in a strong performance ahead of the first European WFTDA tournament in Berlin in November and neither team will be letting this one go without a fight!

This will be the last opportunity to watch Leeds Roller Dolls at home in 2012.
