Merseyside Nighthawks open 2013 with signing and NFL events
On January 20th four teams will compete for a right to play in the Superbowl this year in New Orleans.
However, over this side of the pond, there’s another big American Football event taking place at the same time, as Merseyside Nighthawks will officially unveil their roster as players sign for the 2013 season.
The event itself is being hosted by the Nighthawks’ sponsors, Liverpool One Bridewell, where there shall be plenty of food and drink on offer to help aid the players get through their contract signings.
Players who have signed will receive a free Hawks T-Shirt to help make training look more together whilst the AFC and NFC championship games will also be screened at Bridewell.
There will also be a Madden 13 competition going on for those who think they have what it takes! Prizes have yet to be announced but it will be nothing short of stellar.
The event is important for the team to begin its registration phase but also to get the group together and that sense of camaraderie building as early as possible.
Not only that, but a second blast of Nighthawks-NFL action comes on February 3rd, with the Super Bowl itself, and more of the same Madden 13 competitions, food and drink, raffle, and of course the whole Super Bowl, live, and in full high-definition.
