Name That Team: BBL Birmingham needs your help!

Basketball fans, from across the country, are being invited to become a notable part of the history of the sport, by helping choose the official team name for the Birmingham BBL franchise.

Whether you are from the Birmingham area, or beyond, the organisation in charge are handing over the duty of christening the team to the supporters, and if you just happen to be the person who comes up trumps with the moniker, there are a host of prizes to be won – including a pair of tickets to this season’s Playoff Final at Wembley Arena.

Following on from this, the opening home game of the 2013/14 will include a namecheck in the official programme and also recognition in front of the home crowd with another shout-out by the host of proceedings on the night – and so the winner doesn’t miss it, two tickets to that very same game.

Two runners up will also receive a pair of tickets to the first home game in September 2013

So what exactly is it that you need to do to enter?

Simply choose a name and tell BBL Birmingham just why you have chosen it!

The team name must follow the format, ‘The Birmingham xxxxxxxx’

Entries will be judged on both the name and the way it is brought to life in your entry/reasoning behind your choice of name.
