NBA 3X returns to UK in July

The NBA has announced today that it will be returning to the UK over the coming weeks with both London and Manchester hosting the NBA 3X basketball tournament.

NBA stars, Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks and Serge Ibaka of the Oklahoma City Thunder, will be on hand in London on July 13th-14th and Manchester on the 19th-20th respectively, to hand out advice and prizes to those competing in the 3-on-3 basketball tournament. Fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy a live DJ, buy NBA merchandise and compete in other competitions.

Benjamin Morel, the NBA Senior Vice President, Europe said of the return to the UK of NBA 3X: “We are thrilled to be welcoming NBA 3X back to the UK for the second consecutive year.

Fans and players alike can expect a truly authentic NBA experience and a unique opportunity to meet two of the league’s top players, ahead of an exciting schedule of NBA games in both cities.”

The events planned for July will act as a warm-up for UK-based NBA fans who will witness the OKC Thunder take on the Philadelphia 76ers in Manchester on the 8th October as part of their preseason schedule and the Atlanta Hawks taking on the Brooklyn Nets at the O2 in London on January 16th.
