NFL Week 11 Thursday Night Football: Colts Comeback Cements South Division Lead
The Indianapolis Colts looking to bounce back from last week’s shock home loss travelled to Tennessee to face the Titans on Thursday Night Football. This AFC South showdown was a good test of the Colts’ credibility.
Titans running back Chris Johnson had an explosive first quarter, going in for two touchdowns and gaining 70 yards, he would finish the night 17-86 and 2 touchdowns. At this point it looked like the Colts were still in shock from last week, but they slowly pulled the game around and had their own running game working.
Donald Brown had his own pair of touchdowns on way to a 14-80 night, QB Andrew Luck ran in another score, and eventually Indianapolis turned the game around to win 30-27. Colts Tight End Coby Fleener had a career high 8-107 receiving.
This was the Titans 5th loss in 6 games and leaves them at 4-6. The Colts are now 7-3 and just 3 wins away from winning the division.
