Parker’s clutch shot ultimately wins Game 1 for Spurs
Just how Tony Parker retained the ball during this play and to still go clutch right on the buzzer of the shot clock even baffles me. In fact you have to seriously slow down the footage in order to pin point the release, which shows there was definitely .1 of a second left on that shot clock.
Let’s not just judge this to be a one-shot game to be talked about, but rather more the magic Parker brought in that final quarter, making ten points of his 21 in total, which helped seal a 92-88 victory for San Antonio, and 1-0 in the series.
LeBron made another triple-double (18pts, 18 rbs, 10 ast) in Finals, but even he will know that those stats count for nothing if you lose four times, especially when you are almost a non-entity in a final period like last night.
It rolls on to Sunday night now, where it looks more than likely we are in for another incredible game. Spurs might have the lead, but are we going to see their Finals streak come to an end next time out? Let us know Sports Fans!
