Red Sox best value in the Bronx

On Friday night the Boston Red Sox visit the New York Yankees go at it in the Bronx under the lights of Yankee Stadium.

It will be Lester facing Sabathia and on the face of it – we only see one winner.

Jon Lester has pitched in two hard luck losses giving up only two earned runs whilst receiving one run of support in total. Whereas Sabathia has struggled in both his starts giving up six and four runs respectively.

The Red Sox bats have also shown signs of life recently with David Ortiz starting to find his groove in 2014. We think Lester should limit the Yankees enough to give the Red Sox a very good shot at winning.

Another market that takes our interest is the over/under. This season seven out of nine of Boston’s games have gone under the total, which sits at 8.5 for this game. The Yankees on the other hand have had five from eight games go under the total. This coupled with Boston’s ace Jon Lester being on the mound means we see good value here on this market.
