Scan reveals Matt Schneck “concerns”
Matthew Schneck today revealed how a recent MRI scan has pointed out a number of minor stresses and strains he picked up during the last season with the Cheshire Jets.
Tweeting early evening after receiving the results, the Milwaukee centre let Jets fans know throughout the “Twittersphere” that the extraordinary efforts made by himself and the other players on court, especially in the final part of the season, have taken their toll.
After replying to him via the social media channel, he highlighted the main key areas that need to be looked upon and taken care of over the summer.
He took a fall against Newcastle Eagles which put him out at the end of 2011 and into the early part of 2012, and it seems probable it has had a knock-on effect.
Nevertheless, it seems that whatever niggling concerns his doctors may have back home in America can be easily handled over the BBL summer break. With rest and recuperation together with a program of physical therapy, he is looking to be fit and ready for his upcoming summer camp, where he will be coaching alongside former Cheshire Jet, Quemont Greer.
