UK Schedule 19/20 March
There are five games Saturday and five games Sunday in the Elite Ice Hockey League as those who have made it prepare for the playoff and others hope to go out on a good note with nothing to play for. The five games on Saturday night all start at 7pm. The schedule sees four of the big five up against each other, so the coaches will need to choose whether to not show their hand or to put the frighteners on their opponents. The games are Sheffield at Braehead, Coventry at Cardiff, Edinburgh at Hull, Dundee at Newcastle and Belfast at Nottingham.
On Sunday evening their are four games in the ice starting at 6pm with the Vipers and the Stars finishing the weekend of hockey with a 6:30pm face-off at the Dundee Ice Arena. Sheffield welcome Braehead for the return game, the Blaze entertain the Giants, Cardiff travel to Murrayfield and the Stingrays play the Panthers in Hull in the 6pm games.
The Eagles beat the Jets by three on Friday night and remain at the top of the pile going in to the weekend. The Sharks go to Esse Saturday night and the Jets host the Tigers on Sunday. The Eagles are on court againin Plymouth Sunday afternoon.
Saturday 19 March
Pirates v Sharks, Raiders v Lions and Thunder v Rocks all at 7:30pm.
Sunday 20 March
Heat v Rocks 3pm, Raiders v Eagles 4pm and Jets v Tigers at 5:30pm.
