Sharks in talks with former Eagles guard Andrew Bridge
The One Health Sheffield Sharks are in talks with former Sharks guard, Andrew Bridge, a source close to the club has said today.
Bridge, 33, played for the Sheffield Sharks early on in his career before moving to the Newcastle Eagles in 2002 where he has spent his career since, winning every domestic trophy available.
Bridge’s versatility at playing both point guard and shooting guard would provide nice cover for the Sharks who have already signed backcourt duo, Gage Daye and Micah Williams.
The interest in Bridge is another encouraging sign for Sharks fans as they retool ahead of the 2012 campaign, having already seen the club sign two new players as well as re-signing both Mike Tuck and Olu Babalola.
