Steelers made the points safe as they hit three without reply in the second stanza. The first of these came from Neil Clark at 24.31. Just under three minutes later Mike Ramsay found the net at 27.17 for the home side to lead 3-0. Neil Clark then got his second goal of the game at 33.59 for his sides fourth goal of the game.

The visitors got a consolation goal from player/coach Dan Ceman at 54.22 to deny John DeCaro his first shutout of the season.
