Lebron’s 33 points were enough to see off the visiting Milwaukee Bucks as the Heat won, 118-95. Michael Beasley’s 19 points were his best performance since his return to Miami in the Summer. Gary Neal and John Henson each had 18 points in defeat.

Both Gortat and Wall had a double-double for the Wizards but it didn’t help them in Dallas as they went down to the Mavericks 105-95. Five Mavericks had 10 points or more with both Nowitzki and Carter top scoring with 19 apiece. The big German’s total led him past Jerry West and into 16th place on the all-time scoring list with 25,197 points.

The Warriors kept the Pistons below 100 points as they won a comfortable encounter, 113-95. Steph Curry led a strong shooting night by the Warriors, notching 25 points in the win. Andre Drummond had 16 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
Iggy with the behind-the-back drop-off to Lee
New Orleans @ Los Angeles Lakers
The hot-and-cold Lakers met the cold-and-hot Pelicans at the Staples Center last night, with the Lakers winning, 116-95. LA stopped the Pelicans getting on the boards, out rebounding them 53-31. The LA win avenges their loss to the Pelicans four days earlier and also stopped a potential three-game losing streak.
