The Wrap-Up: Wall goes big while Knicks are a no-show

John Wall had 14 points and 16 assists and backcourt partner, Bradley Beal, scored 25 points as the Wizards pulled off the surprise 104-100 win over the visiting Timberwolves, 104-100. Kevin Love had 25 points and 11 rebounds, including 16 points in the first quarter.
Wall serves up his team
New York @ Detroit
The Knicks are in the midst of a three-game losing streak having dropped this one on the road to the Pistons, 92-86. Rodney Stuckey dropped in 21 points from the bench while Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond recorded double-doubles as the Pistons won their fourth game of the season. Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 21 points.
Atlanta @ Miami
Even without Dwyane Wade, the Heat brushed aside the visiting Hawks, beating them 104-88. Chris Bosh led the Heat with 19 points in only 25 minutes. Mike Scott had 15 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for the Hawks.

Boston @ Houston
The Rockets made light work of the visiting Celtics, beating them 109-85 thanks, in part, to Terence Jones’ career-high 24 points. Dwight Howard had 10 points, 11 boards and three blocks in the Rockets’ 8th win of the year. The Celtics have now lost four straight games.

Phoenix @ Sacramento
Despite scoring almost 40 points in the second quarter, the Suns couldn’t beat the Kings, going down in Sacramento 107-104. DeMarcus Cousins had a monster game with 27 points, 12 rebounds, four steals and two blocks, while Isaiah Thomas chipped in 19 points off the bench. Gerald Green led the Suns with 23 points.
