Tuck returns to Sharks for two more years
One Health Sharks Sheffield have officially announced that they have captured the signature of team captain Mike Tuck for the next two seasons.
30-year-old, Toronto-born, Tuck will spend his fifth and sixth seasons at the club, hoping to add to the two BBL Cup winners medals and a BBL Trophy winners medal already gained during his time with the Sharks.
Tuck, who is also a British passport holder, has become one of the leading big men in the British Basketball League and amassed impressive figures of 14.3 points per game with 8.8 rebounds per game last season as well as guiding his side to an unexpected BBL Trophy Final win.
Sharks’ Managing Director, Sarah Backovic, had this to say of Tuck’s signing: “We are very pleased to have the security of Mike Tuck for the next two seasons. We believe it’s a testimony to his commitment to the club and our belief in his skills as a great captain.”
