Wildcats set for season launch

The 2011/2012 Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey team are gearing up for their annual season launch on Sunday 11 September.

As part of the launch the Media, Sponsors and Fans get to see the new look team in a press launch, on Ice Session and then BBQ at the Harvester close to the Link Centre Ice Rink.

Expectations are high from fans for the forthcoming season, with many pundits predicting a strong English Premier League season for the Wildcats.

The event which acts as a great precursor to the season is hugely popular with the fans, press and sponsors and gives season ticket holders the chance to pick up their tickets, and an opportunity for fans to purchase tickets for the pre season games and the 2010/2011 season merchandise.

The full plan of the day is:

12.00pm -Public Entry into the Rink

12.15pm– Players Introduced to the crowd and seen on the ice in the new strip for the very first time

12.30pm– Team and individual player pictures for the press

12.45pm – Official Team Practice

1.15pm– Finish

2.00pm– Meet the Players BBQ at the Harvester
